Maksym Shkil's company "Avtostrada" continues the construction of the Podilskyi Bridge in Kyiv. This time the companies again allocated a significant amount - 1.18 billion UAH. At the same time, the tender was held without a single competitor. As noted in the documentation, the discount was only 200 thousand UAH from the expected cost.
The list of planned works includes the installation of noise barriers, lighting, traffic lights, transformer substations, etc. The Avtostrada company has been building the Podilskyi Bridge since 2023, replacing the previous contractor on this project, Eko-Stroy-Trade LLC. It was associated with Denys Komarnytskyi and Vadym Stolar.
Recall that in 2023, Avtostrada began work as a subcontractor, and funding began to come directly from the Kyiv city budget. According to journalists, it was Komarnytsky who brought Shkil to this project. Then the company received more than UAH 630 million without a competition.
Despite the NABU's long-term surveillance of Denys Komarnytskyi's activities, law enforcement officers have not made any claims regarding the construction of the Podilskyi Bridge or the participation of Avtostrada. This silence raises questions among the public, especially against the backdrop of more high-profile cases involving much smaller amounts of damage.
They also mention another large project being carried out by Maksym Shkyl's company - the completion of the metro to Vynohradar. There, the situation looks even more contrasting: the previous contractor, Kyivmetrobud, built 40% for UAH 2.5 billion, while Avtostrada received UAH 13.8 billion for the remaining 60%.
The transparency of such decisions and the efficiency of spending the city budget remain questionable. The public demands greater openness of tenders and audits of such projects, especially in wartime conditions, when every hryvnia counts.
