Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Kateryna Chernogorenko announced that by the end of February 2025, the Reserve+ application will have a function for receiving electronic referrals for passing the military medical commission (MMC). This innovation will significantly simplify the process, allowing conscripts to receive referrals without having to visit territorial recruitment centers (TCC).
The VLK procedure will be divided into two stages: a medical examination, which can be taken at any civilian institution of the conscript's choice, and an administrative part, which will be carried out through the Ministry of Defense system. This approach will make the medical examination process decentralized, autonomous, and more convenient for the military.
This innovation will not only increase the convenience and efficiency of medical examinations, but will also significantly reduce corruption risks, as doctors in civilian institutions will be able to conduct examinations without direct contact with government agencies.
The Ministry of Defense is also working on the possibility of adding a subpoena tracking feature to the “Reserve+” application to increase transparency in the process.
