WSJ: Ukraine may strike military airfields in Rostov region with ATACMS missiles

The American edition of The Wall Street Journal suggests that the next target for ATACMS missiles, which Ukraine received from the United States, could be military airfields in the Rostov region of Russia. This is a strategically important region where four airfields are located, which are actively used to support hostilities against Ukraine.

"Washington previously compiled a map with 200 military targets in Russia for ATACMS missiles. The Armed Forces of Ukraine can hit at least four military airfields in the Rostov region with American long-range weapons," the publication says.

At the same time, the publication refers to the map compiled by the non-governmental organization "Institute for the Study of War".

It should be noted that Ukraine delivered the second and last long-range attack on Russia on Wednesday, November 20.

After that, on Thursday night, Russia used a new medium-range missile over Ukraine, which probably hit the "Pivdenmash" in the Dnipro. Putin threatened that such strikes could be continued.

After that, the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not fire new long-range Western missiles.
