50-year-old Honored Artist of Ukraine Irma Vitovska denied false rumors about her death, which began spreading on social networks after the publication of a fake image.
On her Facebook page, the actress posted a screenshot of a post, where her photo was accompanied by the years of her life — “1974–2025” — and the caption: “5 Ukrainian stars who passed away today.” In red font, Vitovska wrote one word above the picture — “FAKE.”.
"Tell me, what kind of inhumans do you have to be to publish something like this. I'll survive it, but I have parents, friends, elderly relatives. What if one of them got hit by such news? And they're not afraid of a boomerang, you brutes," the actress commented emotionally.
In the comments to the post, users supported Vitovska and expressed indignation at the actions of the authors of fake information. Among those who expressed words of support were TV presenter Anzhelika Rudnytska, director Oleksandr Zalevsky, writer Maryana Savka, and others.
“These are freaks. There are no words. Irma, dear, they will get their revenge,” wrote Rudnytska.
“This abomination has become a sea on social networks. And you will survive them all,” added users.
“Long life to you, Irmochka, and the grave will straighten the hunchbacks,” wrote another commentator.
This is not the first time the actress has publicly opposed manipulation and lies, but this time it is about a particularly cynical case — speculation on the topic of death.
