In 2022, the Lychakiv Court of Lviv passed a decision to seize assets belonging to pro-Russian politician Viktor Medvedchuk, including the companies "Academ-Club", "Osokorky 7" and "Orest". However, despite the legal decision, the actual arrest was not implemented due to legal formalities.
Bihus.Info journalists discovered that investigators and prosecutors did not submit the necessary documents to the state registrar to enter information about the arrest in the state register. This made it possible to rewrite the company to new owners. By the end of 2022, the companies changed their owners: "Academ-Club" fell to the Bulgarian Petros Togramajyan, "Osokorka 7" - to the Latvian Vadym Ivanov, and "Orest" and "Viktoria" - to the Kyiv businessman Valery Mishchenko.
It is interesting that the company "Viktoria", which also moved to Mishchenko, became the customer for the construction of the Dnipro Island residential complex, the construction of which is already actively underway. The developer is the company "Kreator Bud", which was noted for scandals surrounding the land, which changed its intended purpose from "for agricultural needs" to "for the construction of an apartment building." This situation is already being investigated by the police.
All these companies are developers and have leased land in the capital's Osokorki, where construction is currently actively underway. However, the situation looks suspicious, given that the assets were seized by court order, but for some reason ended up in Mishchenko's hands. This creates risks for investors who may not wait for the completion of the apartments.
Who is this Valery Mishchenko, who was able to circumvent the law and disrupt the plans of the state? Why did he manage to implement schemes that should not have been possible during the war? These questions remain open and require urgent investigation.
