In the context of general mobilization in Ukraine, military men aged 18 to 60 can be called to service. However, the legislation provides for a deferral for certain categories of citizens. It is a temporary release from mobilization, which can be provided in different circumstances, but it is necessary to properly draw up documents and submit them to the territorial assembly center (TCC).
One of the main reasons for the delay is the health. If the conscript has a disease that temporarily or constantly impedes service in the army, it may obtain the appropriate conclusion of the medical commission. The list of such diseases is approved by the government and includes a number of serious pathologies that are incompatible with the performance of military duties.
Another basis for delay is training. Students who receive a full -time or dual education education in higher education institutions or technical schools can apply for mobilization delay. The same applies to graduate students and doctoral students. However, it is important to keep in mind that obtaining a second or third higher education is no longer a ground for delay.
Family circumstances can also cause temporary release from mobilization. Considers who are the only guardians or are maintained by minor children, disabilities or a disability may receive a deferral. If a man cares for his or her parents with disabilities, it is also a basis for delaying the service. Instead, caring for a father -in -law or mother -in -law no longer guarantees release from mobilization.
Another important category is employees of strategically important enterprises and organizations. Delay can be obtained by doctors, defense industry workers, educators, agrarians and specialists engaged in other critical areas for the state. To do this, the employer must confirm that the employee is preserved.
To register a deferral, you must contact the CCC at the place of residence with the application and the relevant package of documents. Persons claiming a deferred state of health must provide a medical report. Students should provide a certificate from the educational institution, and employees of critically important enterprises - a certificate from the place of work and extract from the employment record. Persons applying for deferral due to family circumstances should provide birth certificates or a certificate of disability of family members who are on their maintenance.
After submission of documents, the CCC is inspected, and if all requirements are met, it provides a deferral. In case of refusal, the person has the right to challenge the decision. It is important to remember that all deferrals have a limited period, so you must follow their continuation in a timely manner to avoid problems with the law.
