Ukrainians will be able to receive 1,000 hryvnias from the state as part of the new Winter Support approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. This payment will begin on December 1, 2024 and will continue until the end of February 2025. Detailed conditions are developed for the convenience of citizens, as well as to take into account the special needs of certain categories.
How to get a thousand through Diya
The main way to make a payment is through the Diya . To do this, you need to perform a few simple steps:
- Open a "National cashback" card in one of the partner banks.
- Activate the card in the Action application.
- Apply for payment.
For pensioners and persons with disabilities, an alternative method is provided - receiving funds at Ukrposhta , together with the payment of pension or social assistance.
To whom payment is available
The winter thousand is available to all citizens of Ukraine who are in the country. For those who do not have access to Diya or do not use RNOCPP, it is possible to make a payment directly at one of the partner banks. They include:
- PrivatBank , monobank , Raiffeisen Bank ,
- Ukrgasbank , Oschadbank , FUIB and others.
How to use the winter thousand
The received funds can be spent on the most necessary:
- payment of utility services;
- purchase of medicines or medical services;
- travel in transport;
- purchase of books;
- charity, in particular donating to the Armed Forces.
Pensioners, people with disabilities, as well as guardians of children can use alternative methods of obtaining. In these cases, the period of use of funds is limited to the end of March 2025.
