In case of injury to fighters or deaths of defenders of Ukraine, their relatives are entitled to one -time financial assistance. However, this process can be delayed through bureaucratic procedures that take from several weeks to six months. According to the speaker of the Poltava Regional Criminal Code and JV Roman Istomin, assistance is provided in the event of a military disability, temporary disability or death. It is important that payments for the existing military are made by the military unit to which they are attached.
Assistance is provided to the victims once after establishing the circumstances of the injury. Relatives of the dead military amount of assistance is 15 million hryvnias, but it is paid in parts: 1/5 at once, the rest - within 40 months.

Initially, the citizen appeals to the CCC, after which the circumstances of the event are clarified, and documents and information from the military unit are provided. The process may take several months due to the need to collect and check documents, as well as provided that the military units are in the areas of combat missions. It is important to note that the documents are not sent by ordinary mail, but by a paramedic connection.
Thus, although the process of assisting the victims and relatives of the dead is determined and understandable, it can still be significantly slowed due to delays in documents and other bureaucratic obstacles.
