Clients of PrivatBank should be prepared for the fact that cards forgotten or removed by an ATM are not returned. This was reported by bank specialists on the Ministry of Finance portal. The same approach applies to cards left in terminals.
What to do with a card withdrawn by an ATM
If the ATM "took" your card, it must be reissued. For this, you need to contact your bank, even if the card was not issued by PrivatBank.
"Cards withdrawn or left in ATMs or terminals are not returned. To restore the card, you need to contact the bank that issued this card," explains PrivatBank.
How to reissue a PrivatBank card
Expired PrivatBank cards can be reissued in several ways:
- In a bank branch.
- Through delivery. You can order a new card with delivery within Ukraine or abroad.
- Through a mobile application. For this you should:
- Open the "Wallet" menu.
- Select the card to be reissued.
- Click "Order a card".
In addition to a regular card, clients can issue an instant Digital card in the Privat24 . For this:
- Go to the "All cards" section.
- Click "Add".
- Select "Digital card".
The digital card allows you to make contactless payments via smartphone, as well as withdraw cash from PrivatBank ATMs without using a physical card.
Bank specialists recommend that customers be careful when using ATMs to avoid unnecessary time and effort to restore the card.
We remind you that ATMs and terminals do not return any cards, even if they belong to another bank. All questions regarding the renewal of cards must be resolved exclusively through the institution that issued them.
