From December 2024, Ukrzaliznytsia will introduce a winter train schedule, including new routes to popular mountain resorts and reduced travel time for a number of flights. Tickets for the new routes will go on sale on November 26.
New routes to the Carpathians and Transcarpathia
- Train No. 61/62 Dnipro – Rakhiv
It will pass through Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Delyatyn and Tatariv (Bukovel). This route was created for passengers from the Dnipro region traveling to Lviv and the Carpathians. - Train No. 33/34 Kryvyi Rih – Yasinya
In addition to convenience for tourists, travel time has been reduced by three hours compared to previous routes. - Train No. 125/126-129/130 Poltava, Kremenchuk – Uzhhorod
The new route will provide transport connections between Poltava Oblast and Transcarpathia. - Non-stop trains:
- Kovel - Rakhiv : Daily route.
- Chernihiv - Rakhiv : A day later. Both directions make it possible to reach Yaremche, Vorokhta and Tatarov.
- Reikobus PESA :
The renovated diesel bus will run from Ivano-Frankivsk to mountain resorts, including Vorokhta. - Other changes:
- The Kharkiv - Lviv train will go to Ivano-Frankivsk on peak days.
- Zaporizhzhia - Lviv extended to Rakhov.

- Cherkasy - Kyiv (No. 794/793)
Travel time reduced by 3 hours 34 minutes. - Zaporizhzhia – Kovel (No. 88/87)
Less than 35 minutes on the road. - Ivano-Frankivsk - Chernihiv (No. 141/142)
Accelerated by 24 minutes. - Kyiv – Lviv (Intercity+ No. 741/742)
Travel time reduced by 16 minutes.
The Kyiv-Solotvyno train (No. 83/84) will have 50% more seats thanks to the optimization of the rolling stock.
Some routes, for example, Odesa - Kyiv (No. 105/106), will continue to Kharkiv on days of increased demand.
