Business Censor decided to find out what the state can provide for a mobilized serviceman and how much normal equipment will cost him.
Military personnel of all categories under martial law are provided with property in accordance with standard No. 1 "Combat Uniform Kit" - from hats to winter jackets - a total of 46 items, as well as items according to the "Combat Special Kit" standard - means of personal protection and equipment.
You will hardly be lucky to get all 46 items from the set prescribed by norm No. 1, and from the list of the BSK - and ready, because the state has only begun to purchase some items centrally. In addition, material support in different divisions may differ.
In any case, the new recruit should definitely buy:
- a set for minor repair of clothes and equipment;
- an additional set of field suit - jacket and pants in the statutory "pixel";
belt;
- pants and combat shirt with built-in knee pads/elbow pads;
- trekking underwear (including t-shirts and demi-season underwear), which better wicks away moisture and sweat;
- trekking demi-season boots;
- rubber boots and slippers;
- a winter hat;
- high-quality and comfortable tactical gloves - summer and winter;
- a spare combat shirt under a body armor made of fabric that better wicks away moisture and sweat;
- a tactical poncho that can protect against rain and wind, and can also be used as a - tent, sleeping bag or hammock;
- an isothermal mat made of thick foam of a protective color and the same seat;
- improved spacious army demi-season sleeping bag of the NATO model;
- tactical backpack with a hydrator;
- own "household" first aid kit with a personal supply of medicines;
- a tourist towel, a set of hiking dishes, a tactical flashlight, a power bank, a watch, a nylon rope (paracord), a folding knife and a shovel, a multitool;
- lightweight armor plates, plate carrier, additional anti-fragment protection;
- a helmet made of lighter materials with special fasteners on the forehead and on the sides for night vision devices, cameras, flashlights or additional protection;
- protection of the back of the head.
In general, according to the publication, the mobilized person will have to spend approximately UAH 226,300, and this is the minimum (the higher the quality of the ammunition, the more this amount can increase).
Despite the fact that Butusov's publication says that the military does not complain about state welfare, it's just that you can buy more comfortably for yourself, the military also complains: about extremely low-quality clothes, underwear and shoes, which are enough for a few hours in training school, a mess with issuing, no full set of uniforms, heavy armor, etc.
In the comments to the article, the mobilized wrote that in one of the training centers, when asked about the low quality of ammunition, they were answered: "Disposable uniforms for disposable soldiers"...
