Last month, almost 1,800 hybrid cars (HEV and PHEV) were added to the Ukrainian fleet, which is 5% more compared to November last year. According to the data of the association "UkrAvtoprom", the market shows a steady growth of interest in ecological vehicles.
The majority of purchased hybrids are new cars, which accounted for 66% of the total number of sales (59% last year). Toyota RAV4 remains the absolute leader among new hybrids , which continues to hold its position thanks to the combination of reliability, economy and popularity among Ukrainian drivers.
TOP-3 new hybrids in November:
- Toyota RAV4 – 194 cars.
- Audi Q8 – 82 cars.
- Toyota Camry – 72 cars.
Ford Fusion US became the leader among imported used cars , which is distinguished by its affordable price and reliability. At the same time, the Toyota Prius and Kia Niro remain popular due to their economy and practicality.
TOP-3 used hybrids in November:
- Ford Fusion US - 47 cars.
- Toyota Prius - 38 cars.
- Kia Niro - 36 cars.
The British publication Autocar published its list of the best hybrid cars. Among the recommended models:
- Toyota Corolla 2.0 Hybrid - for reliability and endurance.
- Peugeot 408 Hybrid 136 - for modern design.
- Volvo V60 T6 Recharge - for premiumness and environmental friendliness.
Experts have also highlighted several of the best used hybrids that may interest Ukrainians. Among them are the Toyota Prius , Honda Accord Hybrid , and Ford F-150 , which received high marks for practicality, comfort, and efficiency.
The growing interest in hybrid cars is due to several factors: fuel economy, reduction of CO₂ emissions and support of an ecological lifestyle. At the same time, Ukrainians increasingly choose hybrids due to the desire to reduce maintenance costs and adapt to global trends in the automotive industry.
