Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his desire to hear US presidential candidate Donald Trump's plan to quickly end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours. Zelenskyy's statement was made during an interview with the German television channel ARD.
The journalist conducting the interview recalled that Trump had in the past stated that the war in Ukraine could be ended within 24 hours if he won the election, and Zelensky had called him to Kyiv.
In response, Zelensky said he would agree to talk to Trump on this topic. “I am a completely frank person, and I will definitely be able to say that after the meeting,” the president noted.
Zelensky also added that if Trump's format or formula really leads to peace and he can stop the war in 24 hours, then he will be a very happy president. "Because I know how many people we lose in one day. I know how much it costs. Therefore, I will be happy if someone shows how to end the war in 24 hours," Zelensky emphasized.
