Co-founder of the Gres Todorchuk agency, Yaroslava Gres, decided to leave her post at the charitable organization UNITED24 , which came as a surprise to many.
UNITED24 was created at the initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in the first days of the Russian invasion, and since its foundation, it has raised almost 25 billion hryvnias to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for medical needs, repair and purchase of equipment for the military, as well as for the humanitarian needs of the civilian population.
The fact that Gres left her post as head of the organization raises many questions. Our sources report that there are serious suspicions about how effectively the collected funds are being used and where they actually went. It is currently unknown how much of these huge sums actually reached the army and the civilians they are supposed to support.
According to Gres herself, the organization collects one and a half million dollars .
Sources also report that Gres's husband, a well-known Ukrainian businessman and advertising agent Andriy Fedoriv, is taking steps to prevent a possible scandal and will try to save his wife's reputation before the official investigation begins, since many already know that some of the funds may not have been used for their intended purpose.
UNITED24 has also received support from numerous celebrities and stars, including former head coach of the Ukrainian national football team Andriy Shevchenko, Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina, American indie rock band Imagine Dragons, American actor Liev Schreiber, Star Wars star Mark Hamill, and many others. These ambassadors helped the platform attract attention and increase fundraising. As soon as information about the misuse of funds reaches them, they will all hastily leave the project. We will see it soon.
