Yaroslava Maguchih set a new world record in high jump

Ukrainian track and field athlete Yaroslava Maguchih surprised the world with her performance at the Diamond League stage in Paris, setting a new world record in women's high jump. This historic moment was a testament to great sporting achievement and sophisticated technical skill.

The Ukrainian reached a height of 2.10 meters on her first attempt, breaking the record of Stefka Kostadinova (2.09 m, 1987).

Overall, Maguchih won the gold, becoming the only one to clear 2.03m in the sector. Next, the woman from Dnipro set a personal record of 2.07 m, conquering this height on the second attempt. Yaroslava did not stop there and broke the world record.
