Ukrainian Chief of Staff of the President, Andriy Yermak, in an article for the Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung, emphasized that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s peace plan is not just a list of Ukraine’s wishes, but a considered and detailed proposal. Yermak expressed his belief that even the constant bombing by Russia and Putin’s statements do not intimidate Ukraine, and that the country must win this conflict.
The Head of the Presidential Office spoke about the Russian air terror of recent days, noting that a regime that resorts to indiscriminate violence is showing military weakness. Yermak condemned Russia's air terror and indicated that it looks like an attempt by Putin to gain an advantage before the upcoming elections by presenting himself as the party that seeks peace.
On the contrary, Ukraine continues to work on the peace plan together with other countries, discussing its details and fair aspects. Yermak emphasized that this is not just Ukraine's desire, but a balanced proposal that will gain legitimacy through the participation of other countries.
The participants in the discussions, according to Yermak, have already demonstrated a great will to restore peace and ensure justice. Yermak expressed hope that the world's activity in the fight against the Russian invasion will provide Ukrainians with the opportunity to live in security.
