A significant meeting between former Prime Minister of Ukraine and leader of the political party "Batkivshchyna" Yulia Tymoshenko and President of Poland Andrzej Duda took place at the presidential palace in Warsaw. The event was part of diplomatic negotiations between Ukraine and Poland, which contribute to strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in the context of the war with Russia.
Yulia Tymoshenko informed her interlocutor about the current situation in Ukraine, which has developed due to the war and the course of European integration processes. She also noted that Poland has provided Ukraine with the most assistance among countries in relation to GDP and has accepted a huge number of Ukrainian refugees. For his part, Andrzej Duda expressed his belief that Ukraine will be able to defend its freedom.
"Without a free and independent Ukraine, it is difficult to imagine an independent and secure Poland, Lithuania, or other countries in our region. We admire the heroic struggle of Ukrainians to preserve their independence. Poland will support Ukraine until its victorious conclusion
," he said.
