An important meeting took place between the ex-prime minister of Ukraine and the leader of the political party "Motherland" Yulia Tymoshenko and the President of Poland Andrzej Duda in the presidential palace in Warsaw. This event became part of diplomatic negotiations between Ukraine and Poland, which contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation in the conditions of war with Russia.
Yulia Tymoshenko informed her interlocutor about the current situation in Ukraine, which has developed due to the war and the course of European integration processes. She also noted that it was Poland that provided the most aid to Ukraine among countries in relation to GDP and accepted a huge number of Ukrainian refugees. For his part, Andrzej Duda expressed his belief that Ukraine will be able to defend its freedom.
"Without a free and independent Ukraine, it is difficult to imagine an independent and safe Poland, Lithuania or other countries of our region. We admire the heroic struggle of Ukrainians to preserve independence. Poland will support Ukraine until its victorious conclusion
," he said.
