From March 1 in Ukraine will update the rules of booking workers

From March 1, 2024, updated rules for booking workers from mobilization will be in force in Ukraine. Businesses that have critical status are required to submit updated book lists by February 28.

According to Dmitry Kysilevsky, a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development in a comment on the Telegraph, the review was necessary due to abuse by some companies.

What has changed and why?

According to Kisilevsky, after receiving critical status, some enterprises began to artificially increase the number of employees or reduced their salaries to a minimum level to use the booking mechanism.

“According to the old system, the company showed compliance with criteria, and after receiving the status of critical in it either abnormally increased the number of employees, or salaries decreased to a minimum. Such situations were isolated, but they existed, ” Kysilevsky explained.

The booking criteria are now viewed to avoid such frauds.

How many employees will lose your reservation?

There is no accurate information about the number of employees who may lose mobilization protection. However, Kysilevsky notes that there are no significant changes in the list of critical enterprises.

"Someone, because of new criteria, will not be able to confirm their status, while others, on the contrary, can get out of the shadows and officially book their employees," he summed up.

Therefore, business should be careful about new requirements in order to avoid unpleasant surprises in March.
