A second front may be opened from Belarus

People's Deputy of Ukraine Yevhen Shevchenko warns about the possibility of the opening of a second front by Belarus. In his latest message, Shevchenko expressed serious concern about the military-political situation developing in the neighboring country.

"I don't want to aggravate the situation. But I do not rule out the opening of a Russian-Belarusian second front. And it's not about Yanukovych. Together with Putin, everyone came to Minsk. Just everyone. The new minister of their defense is Lavrov himself. It is bad. Very bad!" - writes Shevchenko.

We will remind you that rumors about the possible entry of Belarus into the war have been circulating for a long time, since the beginning of the war, although they have never been confirmed until now. Lukashenko denied these rumors.

Now entering the war with Belarus can become a much bigger problem for Ukraine than at the beginning of the war, given that the Armed Forces are now inferior to the Russian army in terms of numbers, have limited reserves, and the opening of a new front will seriously increase these problems.

However, there are no signs yet that Belarus is preparing a strike group to attack Ukraine. Currently, nothing is known about major mobilization measures in the Republic of Belarus. But if they start, it will be the first real signal about the possibility of Belarus entering the war.

However, there is a widespread opinion in Ukraine that the circulation of rumors about Minsk's entry into the war is a Kremlin special information operation aimed at forcing the Armed Forces of Ukraine to keep a large group of troops near the Belarusian border.
