ZaNPP restored the connection to the backup power line — IAEA

The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant announced the restoration of the connection to the 150 kV reserve power transmission line. This decision became an important step in ensuring the stability of electricity supply at the station, which is one of the largest in Ukraine and Europe.

The IAEA stated that Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia NPP has restored connection to the 150 kV power line, which can be used as a backup option for the plant.

Although the supply of electricity needed to cool the reactor and other critical functions remains erratic,
