The Kremlin has again talked about the possible use of Oreschnik's missile against Ukraine. However, at the Center for Combating Misinformation at the NSDC stated that there are no panic reasons, the last start of this weapon was unsuccessful. This was reported by the head of the CPD Andriy Kovalenko.
According to him, it is important not to forget that the last attempt to launch "Oreschnika" actually ended with nothing. “The rocket just didn't fly. This should be kept in your head, ”Kovalenko said. He added that after a failed test and information hysteria, which the Russians dispersed earlier, the theme "Oreschnik" disappeared from the public field. But now she has again activated against the backdrop of massive blows of unknown drones on the objects of MIC in Russia.
“The Russians are experiencing the safety of their parade and drawing threats. Ukraine has officially stated that it cannot guarantee security at the Russian Federation, but that does not mean that we are planning attacks, ”Kovalenko emphasized. He also suggested that the Russian side could resort to provocations at its own parade to justify further aggression.
The CPD head did not reject that the Russian side could technically improve the rocket, but assured: even in the case of preparation of a new start -up, Ukraine would know about it in advance. “Our services already have experience in monitoring the situation. If there is a threat of launching from the landfill on the cabbage ravine - it will necessarily be reported, ”he said.
Kovalenko stressed that Ukrainians should not panic, because even the worst scenario will have enough time to take the necessary safety measures. “There will be nothing suddenly. If they are "strolled in the head" - we will already know, " - summarized the NSDC representative.
