A 23-year-old Ukrainian Blue Helmet pilot died

The 23-year-old pilot of the 114th tactical aviation brigade of the Air Force of the Armed Forces, known by the call sign Blue Helmet, Vladyslav Zalistovskyi, died during a combat mission. This was reported by "Army TV" in Telegram.

Vladyslav Zalistovskyi was known for regularly posting flight videos on his social media page, where he climbed on a MiG-29 aircraft. His real name was also known to fans - Vladyslav Zalistovskyi.

The young pilot, who graduated from the flight department of the Kharkiv National University of the Air Force named after Ivan Kozhedub in 2021, died while performing his duties. He flew dozens of sorties during the full-scale invasion. The tragic news of his death shocked not only the military, but also the general public.

Vladyslav Zalistovsky's girlfriend, Evgenia Nesterenko, expressed her grief on Instagram, calling him "her angel." In the post, she noted that Vladyslav loved his work, his life and his sky, but fate played a cruel joke on him.

Vladyslav Zalistovskyi hails from Malin, Zhytomyr region and was a MiG-29 fighter pilot. He was only 23 years old.
