Transcarpathian furniture manufacturer plans to attract workers from Bangladesh

One of the largest furniture manufacturers of Transcarpathia considers the possibility of attracting 160 workers from Bangladesh. This was reported by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration (OVA). Negotiations are currently underway with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to organize this process.

“This is an important signal for all Transcarpathians - our region is developing rapidly, we have factories, factories that need people. It is not necessary to go to European countries - a decent salary and working conditions can be found at home, ” - writes Ova chairman.

The chairman of the Utility Consumer Union Oleg Popenko, commenting on the news, noted that there are "hundreds of thousands" of refugees and displaced persons in Ukraine who "have no work and exist on the verge of biological survival." And is asked the question of efficiency of employment service.

The employment service replied that over 250,000 people, including 42,000 displaced persons, were employed last year.

“I do not know the situation about this enterprise and is not ready without studying the question of why in this case the business decided to attract migrants. But in general, the situation looks like this: unemployment is rapidly declining and changing to a personnel crisis, because millions of people at the front or abroad. The problem with the involvement of personnel is now and will grow ... So labor migration will be, we will not go anywhere, ”, we will not go anywhere,”
