Mobilization Law: Businesses are required to ensure that summonses are served on employees

The new law on mobilization, which will enter into force on May 18, establishes important requirements for enterprises in connection with changes in military legislation. According to this law, business structures are now not only obliged to keep military records, but also to ensure delivery of summonses for military service to their employees.

The law, which enters into force on May 18, will legislate the concept of "notification".

Enterprises, institutions and organizations will be obliged not only to keep military records of conscripts (the order of which is also specified by law), but also to ensure their "notification", which involves the delivery of summonses. At the request of the TCC, enterprises will have to notify employees about the call and ensure their timely arrival.

It is also necessary to annually submit lists of employees who are subject to military registration to the TCC. And in the case of acceptance or release of conscripts - notify the TCC within a week.

Businesses will be fined up to UAH 59,500 for violating these rules.
