Zaluzhny: Russia can wear out Western air defense systems in a few months in the event of a conflict

General Valery Zaluzhny, ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that Russia is capable of exhausting the resources of Western air defense systems (ADF) in the event of a large-scale conflict. In his opinion, modern air defense systems used by NATO countries are high-tech, but at the same time dependent on regular supplies of ammunition, which can become their weak point.

At the rate of airstrikes that the Russian troops are currently maintaining against Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces will be able to defuse the air defenses of Europe within 2-3 months.

The former head also noted that NATO countries have not yet begun to look for alternative methods of countering drones and missiles, relying on aviation and air defense systems.
