Zaluzhnyi releases memoirs "My War"

The former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now the ambassador to Great Britain, Valery Zaluzhnyi, released his first book entitled "My War" . This was reported by the "Babel" publication with reference to sources from Zaluzhny's entourage. The book became the first part of the planned trilogy, which tells about the life and military actions of the general.

"My War" covers key moments in Valery Zaluzhny's life, from childhood to the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. In addition to personal memories, a large part of the book is devoted to the period when Zaluzhny led the defense of the country during the most difficult stages of the war.

The trilogy will be continued with the books "Our War" and "Their War" , which will examine the events in Ukraine through the prism of a broader national and international perspective. It is already known that the second book "Our War" is at the stage of writing.

Although the publication of the book could be a start for the political career of the ex-head of the Commissar, sources claim that Valery Zaluzhnyi has no intention of entering politics. Instead, he plans to continue his diplomatic work as Ukraine's ambassador to Great Britain.
