Zaluzhni recognized a mistake on the beginning of the war and addressed the Ukrainians

Former Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now the Ambassador to the UK, Valery Zaluzhny made a loud statement about the essence of the war and the need for difficult but honest decisions. During his speech at the opening of the Ukrainian School of Management, he said that the war is not only about heroism, but also about the cold calculation and willingness to kill the enemy.

"Being ready to die for Ukraine is important. But this is not enough. It is not necessary to be ready and kill," Zaluzhny said.

In his opinion, only the one who is able to make both decisions - not to be afraid of death and not to be afraid to destroy the enemy - has the right to stand in order. This, according to Zaluzhny, forms a morale and enables Ukrainians to resist the aggressor.

"The willingness to murder for the protection of their land, their people, their family is what makes our struggle possible," he explained.

Zaluzhny stressed that the morale of Ukrainians has deep cultural roots and is formed through a national code, which is "sewn in us in the form of culture." It is against this culture that in his opinion, Russia is fighting.

"Our task is not to interrupt this chain. To pass it on to children, to grandchildren, so that it will expand, not lose," Zaluzhny added.

In addition, the Ambassador mentioned his strategic mistake at the beginning of a full -scale war: then he believed that mass losses demoralized the army of the Russian Federation. But the reality was different - the Russian leadership does not count with the lives of its soldiers.

"Putin is ready to pay any price for victory. But, as for Hitler, it will become a fatal solution for him," Valery Zaluzhny summed up.
