The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has released the results of a full verification of the declaration of Alexander Maleyev - Deputy Head of the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office of the Prosecutor General's Office. It turned out that he did not indicate in his declaration a number of significant objects and data, which could be the basis for bringing it to justice.
According to NAPC, Maleyev did not specify an apartment of 73.4 m², which belongs to another person (Rabinko SV), but which was used by his family members: his wife, daughter, passion and pad. Although this apartment was the actual place of residence of the prosecutor in 2023, in the declaration it is not in the section on real estate. At the same time, it was established that Maleyev actually rented this housing and paid for him a rent, which violates the requirements of the legislation.
In addition, the prosecutor incorrectly declared the Hyundai Santa Fe (2013 car. He indicated joint ownership with his wife, although according to the audit, the vehicle was purchased exclusively by his wife - Tatiana Maleyeva. Maleyev himself only used the car, but did not possess it.
Also, information about the bank account of the wife at JSC “State Social Bank of Ukraine” was not entered, which stored funds exceeding the minimum threshold for declaration.
The total amount of false real estate information is estimated at UAH 3.8 million. This gives grounds to start disciplinary, administrative or criminal proceedings.
The NAPC has already submitted the inspection materials to the relevant bodies for further consideration. Maleyev is threatened with a fine under Article 172-6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses or Criminal Prosecution under Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code.
At the same time, the NAPC did not initiate check the origin of the prosecutor's funds and his estate in Bucha, which was previously featured in the TV show of STB "Super Mom".
According to the CDCC website, the disciplinary case against Maleyev is ongoing, but the prosecutor allegedly takes measures to delay the process, which can lead to the missing deadline.
