Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed and detained the FSB agent, who transferred data on the defense positions of the Ukrainian military in Pokrovsk to the Russian occupiers. The 21-year-old traitor was collecting coordinates of headquarters, strongholds and combat positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to help the enemy adjust the attacks on the city.
According to the investigation, the Russian intelligence services recruited the attacker through telegram channels. After receiving the instructions, he began to spy on the positions of the Ukrainian forces, passing information to the occupiers.
The traitor tried to identify the coordinates of combat positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which holds under fire control Russian assault groups trying to break into Pokrovsk.
The SBU counterintelligence officers exposed and documented the agent's actions in a timely manner. As a result of the special operation of the traitor was detained, and the intelligence he received did not reach the enemy.
The SBU investigators informed him of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law. He is in custody and can receive life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
