In Sumy region, detectives from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) reported suspicions to Mykola Zadorozhny, a deputy from the Servant of the People party and a member of the parliamentary budget committee.
He was accused of extorting a bribe of 3.4 million hryvnias for not interfering with repair work on a water supply system in the Okhtyrsky district.
Mykola Zadorozhny has already been expelled from the temporary investigative commission he heads on the issues of the construction of fortifications and the purchase of drones, and his membership in the Servant of the People faction has been temporarily suspended.

But it's not just bribes that our "Servants" profit from.

The first deputy head of the Servant of the People faction, Andriy Motovylovets, who currently heads the party's Kyiv region branch, not only does not provide assistance to the army, but also invests (indicating significant and shadow income) in bonds of the Ministry of Finance.
Just a few weeks ago, Motovylovets purchased securities worth 5.6 million hryvnias.
In 2023, the MP received over 10 million hryvnias in profit from the repayment of the relevant bonds. As we can see, enrichment during the war is the norm for representatives of the Servant of the People party.
Andriy Motovylovets' wards do not lag behind the "ideology of the leader":
– Andriy Kripak, a deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council and head of the medical commission, purchased a Jaguar F-PACE for his wife in December 2022 for 1.6 million hryvnias;
– In 2023, Roman Bukovsky, a deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council and chairman of the capital construction commission, bought 2 apartments in new buildings in Sofiivska Borshchahivka (Kyiv region) and 7 parking spaces in Vyshgorod. All objects were registered at an undervalue;
– The head of the “Servant of the People” faction of the Kyiv Regional Council, Vadym Herashchenko, also updated his car fleet in December 2022 – a Land Rover RANGE ROVER worth more than 130 thousand euros was added to the collection;
– The former head of the Servant of the People faction in the Kyiv region, Oleksandr Polyarush, who is known for embezzling state lands and budget funds during the construction of shelters, bought a Toyota LC 300 for 3.8 million hryvnias.
