Armed forces of Ukraine successfully destroyed 3,800 Russian air targets in 2023

During the past year (2023), the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to effectively eliminate 3,800 Russian aerial objects, in particular, 15 "Daggers" and more than 2,600 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

During the year, the Air Force shot down 887 enemy cruise missiles, including 15 Kh-47M2 "Kinjal" aeroballistic missiles and 41 units of other ballistic missiles.

Among the destroyed aerial targets of Russia in 2023 were 2,691 "Shakhed", 35 "Lancet" drones, 131 "Orlan" and other attack drones.

"In 2023, our brave military showed impressive efficiency. We express our gratitude to our international partners who support Ukraine in strengthening air defense. We have even more great achievements ahead of us in 2024. Believe in the Air Defense of Ukraine!", the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
