The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, is currently under pressure, which forces him to consider the possibility of negotiations with Russia. This situation is formed against the background of several factors that limit Ukraine's capabilities in war and increase its vulnerability in the international arena.
The German publication WELT writes about it. The article cites a number of reasons why Zelenskyi will very soon have no other way out than negotiations.
In particular, the situation at the front is very difficult. Ukraine lacks everything - soldiers, ammunition, weapons. Western countries are either unwilling or unwilling to supply more weapons and ammunition, and are unable to do so faster than before. Meanwhile, Russian terrorists are attacking from seven directions only in the Donetsk region and can break through the defenses anywhere.
The newspaper notes that the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to China demonstrates that Zelenskyi has begun slow progress towards negotiations with the Russians. The president is gradually preparing the population of Ukraine for this, while Western diplomats from "partner" countries, the newspaper separately notes, are trying to force Zelensky to come to terms with the fact that Crimea is allegedly lost forever.
