President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a series of important international meetings aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and intensifying diplomatic processes. The head of state reported this on his Telegram.
Today, the president is on a working visit to Spain, where he is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. The Ukrainian side is counting on reaching new agreements that will help strengthen the country's defense capabilities and enhance the protection of civilians.
Zelensky emphasized that daily cooperation with international partners should bring concrete results for Ukraine, especially in the face of Russian aggression.
The president will leave for Turkey tomorrow. There, negotiations will be held on the intensification of diplomatic processes, as well as a discussion of a number of solutions developed by the Ukrainian side.
Zelenskyy placed special emphasis on the issue of the return of Ukrainian prisoners of war. According to him, a new stage of negotiations is currently being prepared, within the framework of which Ukraine will offer partners specific mechanisms for the resumption of exchanges.
The President emphasized that the return of prisoners and the approaching end of the war remain key priorities of the Ukrainian authorities.
