The President of Ukraine plans to visit Saudi Arabia before the international peace summit, DPA reports, citing a diplomatic source at the Ukrainian Embassy in Riyadh.
It is noted that the head of state intends to gain support before the upcoming peace summit, which is scheduled for June 15-16 in Switzerland. Ukraine and Switzerland invited more than 150 countries to this event, but Russia refused to participate.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy studied reports on the situation at the front and responded to Russian President Vladimir Putin's attempts to undermine the peace summit.
"These circumstances encourage our president to seek support from world leaders during his visit to Saudi Arabia. Ukraine needs international support and solidarity in resolving the situation in Donbas and restoring territorial integrity," the diplomatic representative said.
