Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is currently under pressure to consider negotiations with Russia, a situation that comes amid several factors that limit Ukraine's capabilities in the war and increase its vulnerability on the international stage.
This is reported by the German publication WELT. The article gives a number of reasons why Zelensky will soon have no other option but negotiations.
In particular, the situation at the front is very difficult. Ukraine lacks everything - soldiers, ammunition, weapons. Western countries are either not ready or do not want to supply more weapons and ammunition, and are also not able to do it faster than before. Meanwhile, Russian terrorists in the Donetsk region alone are attacking from seven directions and can break through the defenses anywhere.
The publication notes that the visit of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister to China demonstrates that Zelensky has begun a slow advance towards negotiations with the Russians. The president is gradually preparing the Ukrainian population for this, while Western diplomats from "partner" countries, the publication separately notes, are trying to force Zelensky to accept the fact that Crimea is supposedly lost forever.
