Zelensky launches the creation of the Unmanned Systems Forces in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the beginning of the formation of specialized units for the implementation of the Unmanned Systems Forces in the country's Armed Forces.

According to the official decree, the President instructed the government, together with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to study the possibility of creating separate units of unmanned systems in the armed forces. After the analysis, proposals on this issue will be submitted for consideration to the National Security and Defense Council. The decree will come into force from the moment of its publication.

Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stressed the importance of incorporating unmanned systems into the country's military structure. He also noted that this will lead to a revolution in military tactics based on innovation and modern technologies.

According to Umerov, unmanned systems have already demonstrated their effectiveness on the battlefield, and now the task is to expand and improve their use.

Earlier, it was reported about a proposal from Germany to immediately organize the supply of Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
