President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on mass speeches in Slovakia, where thousands of protests took place against the policy of Prime Minister Robert Fitzo. These speeches were directed against the convergence of the Fitzo government with Russia. Protests covered more than 20 cities in the country, including the capital of Bratislava, where people went to the streets with the slogan "Slovakia is Europe".
Zelensky commented on his X (Twitter page), emphasizing that Bratislava is not Moscow, but Slovakia is part of Europe. These words of protest support have become a vivid statement to support European values and sovereignty of Slovakia.
Pressions against Fitzo's policy were the result of the premiere statements, which this week expressed suspicion of the presence of a "state coup" in a country that is allegedly prepared with the participation of opposition, non-governmental organizations, media and experts from abroad. However, the Slovak opposition denies these accusations, considering them the tactics of intimidation of citizens.
