Turkish President Recep Erdogan said he had had telephone negotiations with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin. The main topic of conversation was the possible termination of the war and diplomatic settlement of the conflict.

The next day, May 12, Erdogan's telephone conversation with Zelensky took place. The Turkish President stressed that Ankara is ready to mediate in peace talks.
“We have just negotiated with Mr. Zelensky. Last week, they also talked about it with Mr Trump. Turkey is ready to help stop bloodshed diplomatic, ”Erdogan said.
