Zelenskyi: The return of territories requires diplomatic solutions

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, admitted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine currently lack the resources to fully liberate the occupied territories exclusively by military means. The head of state stated this during his last interview, emphasizing the importance of diplomatic tools for achieving peace.

"Our army does not have enough strength to do this. This is true. We really need to find diplomatic solutions," the president said in an interview with Kyodo News.

He emphasized that this will be possible "only when we know that we are strong enough" to prevent Russia from launching a new invasion.

In particular, for this, he once again called to invite Ukraine to NATO.

Zelensky noted that the war has entered a "difficult period" and Russia is actively advancing in Donbas.

Earlier, the Ukrainian president declared the impossibility of a military victory in an interview with the Fox News channel.

And he also stated that Ukraine can agree to stop the war on the front line under the condition of membership in NATO.
