President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the holding of a meeting of the Headquarters, which discussed issues of providing the front with shells and drones. The event was attended by commanders of the main directions and operations, representatives of the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Strategic Industrial Development, and the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
“Important Headquarters. The commanders of the main directions and operations were present in person. Together with them, the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Strategic Industry, and the Ministry of Digital Economy, we discussed in detail the issue of providing the front with shells and drones. Actual costs, daily needs, distribution between units,” Zelensky wrote in his Telegram channel.
The President also noted that the Headquarters systematized current and future contracts, considered issues of assistance from partners, as well as its own production, including the opening of new production lines.
“We are doing everything to provide the soldiers with everything they need to complete their tasks,” he added.
A special emphasis was placed on the issue of air defense (AAD). "We analyzed the latest Russian strikes and the effectiveness of the Air Force. We agreed on our next steps to strengthen the protection of cities, communities, enterprises, and critical infrastructure facilities," Zelensky added.
