According to the source in the Presidential Office, OP Head Andriy Yermak has developed a plan that will allow Ukraine to seize the initiative on ceasefire negotiations. It is about President Vladimir Zelensky's intention to come to Turkey on Thursday, even if Russia has not agreed to a full -scale truce since May 12.
According to the plan, such a step will allow Ukraine to reputation of the initiative side seeking peace. At the same time, Zelensky allegedly refuse any negotiations with the Russian delegation, if Vladimir Putin personally arrives personally.
This means that Kiev does not recognize any of the behind -the -scenes or formal negotiations with Moscow representatives, but is only ready to speak directly with the Kremlin head.
Such a position, according to Yermak, will allow to publicly demonstrate Ukraine's sincere desire to achieve a just peace without inferior in fundamental issues. In addition, the presence of Zelensky in Turkey without Putin can strengthen the international support of the Ukrainian side and put additional pressure on the Kremlin.
We will remind, earlier Zelensky has already declared his willingness to arrive for possible negotiations in Turkey and awaits the response of the Russian side.
