Zelensky said that under Trump, the war will be over, but he does not know exactly how it will happen

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi has expressed the opinion that the war in Ukraine may end under US President Donald Trump, but he does not have a clear answer as to how this could happen. In his statement, Zelensky emphasized that the lack of clarity in Trump's strategy regarding the war in Ukraine does not allow predicting specific actions or consequences for the conflict.

"The change in US policy means that the war will be over. I don't know how. Our task is not to give an opportunity to incline us to concessions," the president said in an interview with "Ukrainian Radio".

Zelensky also made it clear that he would not go to negotiations with Moscow alone. "Negotiations with Russia are possible only if you are not alone with the murderer and on the condition that Ukraine is strong," the president said.

He also commented on the statements of Trump's advisers about the need to freeze the war on the front line with Russia's control over the captured territories.

"I will be serious only about negotiations with Trump. Not with his advisors. This is the level of presidents," Zelenskyy said.

At the same time, he still believes that "Putin will not be allowed to agree on capitulation terms for Ukraine." According to him, Trump did not tell him: "I will become president and sit down at the negotiating table."

At the same time, he made it clear that he does not want to negotiate the end of the war now.

"Putin wants to agree on capitulation terms regarding Ukraine now, but that won't happen, we won't give it to him. Negotiations with the Russian Federation are possible under the condition that Ukraine is strong, negotiations as of today are a losing option, in a weak situation there is nothing to do," said Zelenskyy.
