The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, decided to dismiss Volodymyr Maibozhenko from the post of the head of the Brovarsky District State Administration of the Kyiv Region. This information was announced in an order published on the official website of the Office of the President on April 27.
We will remind you that the Shevchenkivskiy District Court of the city of Kyiv decided to apply a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 2 months without the possibility of making bail against an official of the district military administration. This happened in connection with the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of traffic safety rules or transport operation by persons driving vehicles while intoxicated).
The investigation informed the official about the suspicion for which he could be imprisoned for up to eight years. The pre-trial investigation is still ongoing.
According to law enforcement agencies, on April 26, a traffic accident with victims occurred in the city of Brovary. It was established that the RDA official did not obey the prohibitory signal of the traffic light and ran into pedestrians. As a result of the accident, four people were injured, including a two-year-old girl.
Also, at the scene of the incident, it was established that the perpetrator of the accident was intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of 2.31.
The head of Kyiv OVA Ruslan Kravchenko said that the chairman of the RDA will be fired. The management was also informed about the condition of the victims during the collision in Brovary.
