A cargo of grain worth about 80 million hryvnias was seized at the Odesa port terminal due to tax violations, according to local sources.
As reported in the decision of the Shevchenko District Court of Kyiv dated June 27, 2024, on June 7, on the basis of the decision of the investigating judge within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated by the Federal Security Service regarding tax evasion, a search was conducted at the place of business of Attollo Granum LLC, a grain terminal "Olympex Coupe International" LLC.
As a result, the court seized more than 33,000 tons of corn, 29 containers filled with 11,000 tons of wheat and other grain.
As it was established in court, this year the requisites of "risky" enterprises were used, and false information about the producer or supplier of grain was entered into official documents in order to evade payment of particularly large taxes in the amount of more than 80 million 921 thousand hryvnias.
The "Olympex" terminal is constantly involved in criminal investigations. According to the investigation, in the period from 2021 to 2023, when the company of Odesa businessmen Serhiy Groza and Volodymyr Naumenko "Olympex Coupe International" managed the grain terminal, officials of "Ekotrans" LLC, using their own production facilities of the oil extraction plant and details of the controlled enterprises of suppliers (manufacturers) , purchased and processed agricultural products for cash, and further sold them to controlled enterprises and "risky" exporters.
