On December 15, at 05:30, a triple road accident occurred near Lviv, in which seven people died. The incident happened on the highway "Ternopil - Lviv - Rava-Ruska" near the village of Chyzhikiv, Lviv district.
According to the police of the Lviv region, the collision occurred involving a DAF truck, a BMW passenger car and a Mercedes Sprinter minibus. As a result of the accident, seven people died on the spot, all of them were passengers of a Mercedes Sprinter minibus, whose identity is currently being ascertained.
Three more people, including the drivers of two vehicles — a 45-year-old truck driver and a 39-year-old minibus driver, as well as a 23-year-old passenger of the minibus — received injuries of varying severity. All the victims were hospitalized in Lviv medical institutions.
The causes of the accident are currently being established.
