On Easter night, April 20, the Russian army may launch another massive missile attack on Ukraine. Military expert Oleg Zhdanov stated this on TSN. According to him, it is currently impossible to clearly predict the enemy's actions, but the threat is real.
"You and I cannot even predict how the night will go. Will strategic aviation take off or not? We can roughly say, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that this will not happen," the expert emphasized.
Zhdanov noted that in previous nights the enemy had actively used cluster Iskander missiles and Shahed kamikaze drones, which attacked Ukrainian cities until the very morning.
In this regard, the expert urged Ukrainians not to ignore air raid sirens, avoid mass gatherings of people, and also think in advance about where to take shelter in case of danger:
"If you're going somewhere, you need to look in different directions, just assess where you can hide," he advised.
Zhdanov also drew attention to the technical limitations facing Russian strategic aviation. According to him, the planes can no longer carry large packages of ammunition on board as before:
"A maximum of two missiles per plane. Up to 30 missiles is probably the amount the enemy can lift into the air during a strike. The last time they lifted eight missiles was in the winter of 2022-2023.".
Thus, Ukrainians should be especially vigilant on Easter. Even if there is no attack, the risk remains, and each alarm signal may not be just a formality.
