The Vinnytsia City Court sent to custody the deputy chief of the Vinnytsia Territorial Center of Acquisition (TCC) and its accomplices, who are suspected of beating the military. The reason for the conflict was that the victim had a valid booking, but the official tried to force him to give him up.
The incident happened in September. A man who worked at the critical infrastructure and had official reservation came to the CCC to update his data. Instead of a standard procedure, he faced rigid coercion: the deputy chief of the Tax Code demanded that he sign the questionnaire of the military and refused his reservation.
When the man refused to fulfill the illegal demands, he began to be beaten. Together with the official in the attack, her former subordinate participated in the attack.
The case came to court, and the Vinnytsia City Court ruled to take suspects without the possibility of bail.
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) have been charged with both suspects by articles:
-
Exceeding official powers by a military official, which caused significant damage committed in the conditions of martial law by a group of persons (Part 1 of Article 28, Part 5 of Article 426-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of this article provides for up to 12 years in prison.
