The Poltava region is shaken by a shocking case of brutal violence among children. In the city of Zinkiv, four minors – aged 10 to 14 – beat a 10-year-old boy. The incident happened two weeks ago, but only now has the public become aware of it.
According to police, the abuse took place in an unfinished building. Four children – ages 10, 11, 12, and 14 – held the boy down and inflicted physical injuries on him.
It is noted that the investigative unit of Department 4 (Zinkiv) of the Poltava District Police Department has initiated criminal proceedings into the beating of a 10-year-old boy by four children.
During the initial investigative actions, it was previously established that the incident occurred about two weeks ago in the city of Zinkov, on the territory of an unfinished building. Four children (10,11,12 and 14 years old) held and inflicted bodily harm on their 10-year-old friend
According to the police, the children and their parents have now provided an explanation to the police. The causes and circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
Based on this fact, the police investigation unit, under the procedural leadership of the Zinkivs'k Department of the Dykansk District Prosecutor's Office, initiated criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 127 (Torture committed by a group of persons in advance) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine
Investigative actions are ongoing.
