Despite the third year of a full -scale war, Russian components are still used in helicopters that work in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the Center of the Scheme is a businessman Roman Mileshko, whose company imports and rent aviation equipment through companies with Russian ties and sub -partners from the UAE and Georgia. StopCor journalists write about it
Roman Mileshko publicly denies any cooperation with Russian business. But journalists exposed facts that testify to the opposite: its structures regularly buy and rent aviation from companies that are directly related to Russian citizens and taxpayers of the aggressor country.
Thus, in 2024, Expedition Aviation FZC, which Milesko calls his own, acquired the Mi-17 helicopter at Amis (FZE)-registered in the UAE, but related to the Russian family of fingers. Another related company - Linker (FZE) - has been under US sanctions since 2021.
Helicopters are transmitted to Mileshko's companies in Ukraine, such as the NZ Ordershns and Constant, to fulfill orders - including the State Contacts.
Another element of the chain is Aviaservice LLC, registered in Georgia in 2023. Its director is Aleko Tkemadze, honey -related to the pro -Russian oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili, the founder of the Georgian Dream Party. Tkemadze was previously co -founder of the Ukrainian company Aero Expedition, together with the same novel Mileshko.
During a meeting in the Ministry of Infrastructure in 2023, the SBU representative officially confirmed that at least 15 units made at the Mi-8 helicopters used at the front were found at the Front, made at Russia's military-industrial complex after the full-scale war.
This means that the technique of Russian Federation is directly used in hostilities, and therefore, the Russian manufacturer is able to influence its reliability, monitor wear and even manipulate systems.
Despite all these facts, companies related to Mileshko, continue to receive millions of orders from the state. At the same time, the businessman himself, according to the border service, has been abroad from November 2024 - probably in the United States.
People's Deputy Igor Kopitin, who at one time supported the supply of Mileyshko's helicopters, does not comment on the situation.
According to experts, the systematic use of components from the Russian Federation in the equipment serving the front can qualify as signs of state betrayal - Article 111 of the Criminal Code. And to punish - until life imprisonment.
While senior officials make loud statements about decolonization, independence and support of their own MIC, helicopters with a heart from the Russian plant can fly in the Ukrainian sky.
